It’s time for Cameron to grow a spine.

The BBC reports the truly scary story that Gordon brown is one of the favourites to become head of the International monetary fund. Quite why anyone would think that the UK’s most incompetent chancellor in living memory should be in charge of one of the world most important financial institutes is anyone’s guess. Fortunately Britain has a veto in the IMF and David Cameron has hinted he may use it. He needs to do more than hint he needs to clearly state that Gordon Brown will not be head of the IMF. This is an area where he can be clear as hardly anyone but the most sycophantic and possibly insane labour support would think Brown is a good choice.
