According to this poll the Eastleigh by election will be a
shoot out between the Lib dems and conservatives with labour far behind. Even
the exceedingly "popular" UKIP are lagging far behind the lib dems
and cons. Interesting to note that UKIP will probably pick up a few more voters
from the conservatives due to the Equal marriage bill.
UKIP keep claiming they have massive popular support for their
position yet consistently fail to get a single MP elected this is even when
they concentrate all their money onto a small handful of seats a general
elections. Indeed UKIP has so little local support that they could not find anyone
from Eastleigh to actually run for them. This is after Nigel Farage said he wouldn't
run. Well of course not that would mean taking his snout of the lucrative EU
trough. After all he only needs to be re elected one more time to get a pension
from the EU. It's pretty clear the UKIP is nothing but a profitable ego trip
for the UKIP leadership.
