David Cameron has announced his new look cabinet and its
rather unexciting the only good news is that Ken Clarke has gone leaving us to
wonder how did he get the job in the first place He does remain as a minister without portfolio so he cant do any damage and as a sop to the old wing of the party. George Osborne who as
chancellor has killed off the small recovery that was happening when he took
over and has shoved us back into recession is still inexplicably Chancellor. Finally expenses fraudster David Laws has been
given a small role a junior education minister. Is this a tacit admission that
Nick Clegg and David Cameron approve of or at least turn a blind eye to fraud.
the rest is minor people moving into minor roles.

The economies death spiral by George Osborne a history graduate who doesn't know history.
As the graph on this BBC article shows the economy was
starting to recover in the end of 2009 then this coalition was elected and
within six months started their policy off economic slash and burn AKA austerity.
The depression is continuing with the government trying to
blame everyone and everything from the jubilee to the weather. Indeed they are
blaming everything except their own incompetence.
History has shown us that Austerity has never worked from japans
decades long recession to the great depression between the wars austerity fail
and it fails massively. During the great depression Britain enacted austerity
measures whilst Roosevelt instigated the new deal and invested in the USA as a
result the united states climbed out of depression and became the worlds strongest
economy whilst Britain remained in depression. George Osborne as a history graduate should
know this.
The only conclusion is that the Chancellor is trying to
continue the recession and there can be only one reason for deliberately continuing
the recession. In a recession even more money than usual is concentrated in the
richest 1% which just so happen to include the chancellors tax avoiding family
as well as a significant number of Conservative backers. It is quite clear that
the Tories are now destroying the economy for personal gain.

David Camerons actions are just making Jeremy Hunt look very guilty
Like a
man fleeing from the law or child playing truant from school so they don't have
to hand in the homework they never completed. David Cameron is desperately
trying to keep Jeremy Hunts role in the BSKYB bid scandal from being
scrutinized by independent outsiders. It is clear to everyone except
David Cameron that there are a number of unanswered questions regarding Hunts
conduct, not least of all that he threw Smith to the wolves to save his own
career. Labour are right to demand an investigation into Hunts conduct. Unfortunately
the Lib Dems are unable to pluck the courage to do the right thing so they will
be abstaining from the vote.

Nanny state
It's been awhile but I actually agree with David Cameron on
something. Parenting classes is a very good idea and something that society hasneeded for a long time. Actually since Thatcher declared that there was no society and did what she could to destroy it. A tad ironic that one Tory PM tried to destroy society the other to recreate it, or at elast look like thats waht he is doing.
It does seem that whenever someone uses the
"argument" nanny state against something it really means they have no
real argument against and oppose it on principles rather than reason i.e. out
of stupidity.

Welcome to Chairman Cameron’s communist state of Britain
Step 1 in David Cameron’s attempt to copy China and censor
the internet has begun today with forcing virgin media to block website the Pirate
bay. To get past Chairman Cameron’s firewall I suggest you download The Onion
router bundle here. This will not only allow you to get past Chairman Cameron’s
firewall but will allow you to help those in other communist states like China
get past there censorship.

Prime minister tries to protect his culture secretary from being held accountable
In what is turning out to be a terrible week for David
Cameron he is now up his neck in trouble, protecting Jeremy Hunt from an inquiry
into his dubious relationship with the Murdochs. Cameroons fate is surely now
linked with Jeremy Hunts. If Jeremy is forced to quite then there will be
massive questions asked as to why David Cameroon blocked a very necessary inquiry.

It’s time for Cameron to grow a spine.
The BBC reports the truly scary story that Gordon brown is one of the favourites to become head of the International monetary fund. Quite why anyone would think that the UK’s most incompetent chancellor in living memory should be in charge of one of the world most important financial institutes is anyone’s guess. Fortunately Britain has a veto in the IMF and David Cameron has hinted he may use it. He needs to do more than hint he needs to clearly state that Gordon Brown will not be head of the IMF. This is an area where he can be clear as hardly anyone but the most sycophantic and possibly insane labour support would think Brown is a good choice.

Rattled David Cameron loses the plot has mini temper tantrum at Ed balls.
David Cameron dubbed shadow chancellor Ed Balls "the most annoying person in modern politics" during angry Commons exchanges. "I wish the shadow chancellor would occasionally shut up and listen to the answer," said Mr Cameron. This is rather immature of the PM and is a classic example of not having answers to his questions. Rather than say "I wish the shadow chancellor would occasionally shut up and listen to the answer," answer him again if it is a good answer he will look bad. But by acting the way he did he ends up looking bad because it looks like he is avoiding the question. This is not way a Prime minister or national leader and certainly not a British one should behave. Ultimately he looked out of his depth and rattled, No Wonder Ed Balls was grinning at David Cameron’s reply.

Light grilling on the One Show
Former Blue peter presenter and current One Show Co-Host Matt Baker really shocks the prime minister with his question "How do you sleep at night" take a look at the video below everyone is a little shocked. While it’s always nice to see TV personalities being tough with politicians it’s a shame he couldn't be a bit more focused with his question. The PM does deal with it quite well after the initial surprise i guess he was expecting only soft questions. It’s also a shame that he couldn't defend his policies better and instead takes the question literally. Still a bit of political amusement to brighten the day.

MP’s narcissism and David Camerons poor judgement

The News of the World phone “hacking”* is still being discussed in parliament. Surely this is another example of MP’s Narcissism. The alleged hacking of MP’s phones is not something for the house to discuss until the police finish their investigation. If the investigation is unsatisfactory in its thoroughness or it is clear that phones where “hacked” but the police cannot prosecute because it is not illegal, Then it is time for a debate and new laws** not before. The cynical side of me thinks that certain labour Mp’s are trying to Pre-judge Andy Coulson and the News of the World to score a cheap political point.
I can have little sympathy for David Cameroon in all this, what on earth was David Cameron thinking appointing a tabloid editor as an advisor! They will always have undesirable skeletons in there closet especially as the news of the world is infamous for its creation of news rather than reporting it. He Clearley was never fit to hold the post of Director of communications. This is like appointing Libya to the UN human right watch dog or Tony Blair Middle east peace envoy. Ohh they did do those things, damn.
*The accusation against Coulson and the news of world are not technically hacking but I use the word for convenience.
** Reading someone’s private messages should always be illegal unless there is a genuine threat to the country and if there is it should be passed to the police before publication.
