Former Archbishop of Canterbury is straight out lying again.

Today the former Archbishop of Canterbury has stated one of the most common lies of the religious. The gross lie that they are persecuted because they are no longer allowed to persecute others. No Mr Carey you have power and privilege automatically bestowed upon you and you still demand more. Stopping you from persecuting others is not persecution, wanting you to not have special privilege is not persecution allowing you to play with your toys is .

Enough with clerical and religious bullying and intimidation good and honest people will fight against your crimes.

Cardinal Cormac Murphy O'Connor launches hypocritical and dishonest attack.

Cardinal Cormac Murphy O'Connor the monster who protected paedophile and exposed more children to them has launched a rather hypocritical attack on secularism.

Terry Sanderson, president of the National Secular Society, said: "Cardinal Murphy O'Connor is simply echoing the Vatican's familiar and untrue line that 'secularism' is the enemy of religion. It is certainly the enemy of power-seeking religion, as with the Vatican's present version of Catholicism, but it upholds the rights of religious believers to practise their faith freely and without hindrance. His presentation of Christianity as being under attack is a familiar one and still completely unconvincing. It is part of a wider campaign to reassert Catholic influence."

Mr Sanderson continued: "Murphy O'Connor says that the 'high priests' of secularism can't guarantee freedom from violence or immorality.

"But we should never forget that Mr Murphy O'Connor himself was guilty of disgracefully covering up some of the most horrific crimes of a paedophile priest when he was Archbishop of Arundel and Brighton – allowing the perpetrator to continue abusing children in other parishes. Why Murphy O'Connor was never brought to justice over this remains a mystery."

It is the same old lie again, by claiming that they are not allowed to discriminate or have special privileges over others then they believe they are being discriminated against. Also there world is do blinkered and singular that they are constantly going on about the high priests or secularism and atheism. Hate to point this out but there are no high priest or Holy Book of either.

Where have all the Christians gone?

Pastor Terry Jones who has deliberately caused deaths by burning the Koran knows exactly what he is doing. He knows exactly what the results will be in the un-educated Muslim countries. He knows the local Politicians in those countries will fan the flames for political reasons much as American politicians fan the flames and encourage Christians to murder abortion doctors. Pastor Terry Jones this yet still carries on revelling in the deaths
This is just another example that the religion of Christ no longer exists and that those left who claim to be Christian are nothing more than passive aggressive attention seekers. It has been years since I have met or heard of anyone who claims to be Christian and who actually follows the most basic teachings of Christ, love thy neighbour would one or judge not lest you be judged would be appropriate.
Terry Jones is just a hate filled man who is deliberately provoking un-educated peasants by mocking their religion. It is a deliberate attempt to provoke protests and deaths and each death is his responsibility and I’m sure he is delighted by every single one. Can we end the charade that religion is a positive force in the world and accept the evidence that it’s just another excuse for people to hate each other. As Steven Weinberg said “Religion is an insult to human dignity. With or without it, you'd have good people doing good things and evil people doing bad things, but for good people to do bad things, it takes religion.”

A Glimmer of hope

The BBC reports a glimmer of good news for the future of humanity. According to a report religion may well become extinct in 9 countries surveyed for too long belief in the supernatural has damaged humanity and caused untold suffering in the name of fictional gods. It provides evil people a tool to control others and make them believe in evil things.

Book Burning

The BBC today reports that the Dove World Outreach Centre is planning on burning the Koran. With a name like that you might have thought there leader Pastor Terry Jones would recognise the hypocrisy of what he wants to do and this would certainly make him a candidate for hypocrite of the year. Pastor Terry Jones said on Wednesday that his plan to burn the Islamic holy book is intended to draw attention to his belief that "something's wrong." Book burning is a sign that you cannot argue against the ideas contained within that book and that is further confirmed by the quote “something is wrong” So what is it that is wrong Pastor Terry Jones or are you simply seeking attention by burning a book? Sadly this just another piece of evidence that the United states version of christianity is more about attention seeking showmanship and money than the teachings of jesus. Ultimatley book burning is an admission of defeat and should always been seen that way.
